Normally a new version of Rapberry Pi is always expected in February. In June 2019 the Raspberry Pi 4 B with improved hardware was released. Revised were SoC (CPU/GPU), more and faster RAM up to 4 GB and the interfaces with USB 3.0 and Gigabit Ethernet. Also the power supply is now USB-C instead of MicroUSB and now two Micro-HDMI sockets instead of an old HDMI 1.4. Despite more processing power and other interfaces the power consumption is on the same level as the predecessor.
